Kenneth E. Palmer, age 84 of Fridley passed away peacefully April 13, 2011.
He was preceded in death by parents Eldridge & Lucille Palmer, sister Carol, brother Bill, step-son Neal & grandson Craig. Survived by loving wife Nancy; children Linda (Bill) Stotts, Micheal, Kathy (Pete) Majeski, Cindy Cincoski, James, Tom, Richard (Veronica), Theresa Rongstad & Jeff (Katy). Also by step-children Sherry (Mark)Butcher Wickstrom & Janus (Cindi) Butcher; also by sister Donna & brother Bob (Connie); 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Ken graduated from Washington High School, St. Paul in 1944. He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran, a gold card member of the Bricklayers Union #1 of St. Paul & retired from the Bureau of Mediation Service, State of Minnesota. He was a member of VFW Post 363 & American Legion Post 303 of Fridley. Ken had a great love of his country & appreciation of the good life he enjoyed.
Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Tuesday at Church of St. William, 6120 5th St, Fridley. Visitation Monday from 4 -7 pm in the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley & 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
