Kathleen Ann Olson

Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Olson (Klingler), age 70, passed peacefully into eternal life Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Born November 12, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert Klingler and survived by her mother Mary (Rupp) Klingler. She married David Olson on June 18, 1988 in Maple Grove, Minnesota and shared 35 years in marriage together. Kathy was a caring and loving mother to her three children and their spouses: Jaime (JD) Kudak, Troy (Laura) Olson, and Tyler (Amanda) Olson. Kathy also loved and cherished her grandchildren Payton, Grace, Layne and Milo.
 

One of five children, Kathy had two brothers and two sisters. Survived by sisters Mary Jane Schiferli and Patti Fautch and brother John Klingler. Preceded in death by other brother Charles "Chuck" Klingler. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
 
 Kathy lived by serving others. She was always willing to give her time, effort, and love through taking care of family, volunteering with local organizations such as the Lionesses and helping within her community. Through her service she built an incredible network of family, friends, and many people close to her that will miss her dearly.
 
 Funeral services will be held at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley, MN on Thursday, June 6 with visitation/viewing at 10:00am and ceremony at 11:00am. The funeral service may also be viewed via live stream which will be posted to this page shortly before the service. 
 
 A memorial will also be held on Friday, June 7 from 2:00-5:00pm at the Greenville Lions Park in Greenville, WI.
 

Thank you to everyone who helped our family during Kathy’s brave battle with cancer over the last several years. Family and friends, doctors and staff, your assistance and support has been deeply appreciated no matter how great or small. She was a tough woman and fought hard.
