Age 64 of Fridley. Born in St. James, MN on March 5, 1947. Passed away at her home on March 28, 2011, surrounded by her husband of 37 years, Steve, her loving children and grandchildren, of whom she was incredibly proud. Karen is preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by daughter, Michelle (David) Drangeid and grandsons, Davin Paul and Stefen Ryan; daughter, Sarah Shorma (Jamason Ballard) and grandchild, Ilia Rose Ballard; son, Ryan Shorma; and beloved twin sister, Karol (Greg) Johnson.
Visitation Wednesday, 5-8PM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley and one hour prior to service AT THE CHURCH. Funeral service Thursday, 11AM at The Church of St. William, 6120 5th St. NE, Fridley.
