Justin Butler

Butler, Justin Luke "Lug" A fiercely loyal friend, rapper, brother and son passed away at 9:58 am, May 14 from complications related to leukemia treatment. Born 7/9/85 in Minneapolis to parents Richard and Sharon Butler, Lug had battled the illness bravely for the past three years; at the time of death, he was cancer free, but succumbed to infection. A lifelong entertainer with a passion for cars (and driving them very fast), Lug was a member of the rap crew Merkabilities and co-founder of Cold North Entertainment. Visitation on Wed., 5/19 at Miller Funeral Home, Fridley from 5-9 pm followed by memorial services Thur., 5/20 at North Heights Church in Arden Hills, 2 pm.
