Judy grew up in St. Paul as an only child, living above her parents’ corner grocery store. When she married her husband Aaron, they moved to Fridley where they had built their family home.
She worked at 3M prior to raising her children as a stay-at-home mom. Judy returned to 3M, after they grew older, where she worked until retirement.
Judy was a dedicated member of many social groups at 3M, Salem Covenant Lutheran Church and at the Fridley Community Center.
She enjoyed many activities and hobbies, always diving into them with a passion. Her creative spirit shone brightly in everything she did, from decorating her home, gardening, sewing, card making, just to name a few. Everything was crafted to perfection and had the mark of her unique personal style.
Judy especially enjoyed spending time with her family at her cabin which is now in its 5th generation. She has left a legacy for her children and grandchildren of the cabin’s rich family history and memories of times spent together at the lake.
Per her wishes, a private burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
