Judith Enga

Judith R. "Judy" Enga age 83 of Mounds View, MN

Born June 30, 1939; passed away peacefully and surrounded by loving family on September 15, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.

Judy attended and graduated from North High School, Mpls in 1957. She married the love of her life, Melvin Enga on May 3rd, 1958 and they proceeded to dance their way through life raising four amazing children along the way. She worked for many years as a cashier at Super Value Market in New Brighton.  Judy loved being with her friends and family, maintaining her flower gardens, planning and hosting events, and Neil Diamond. She never ate any flavor of ice cream except chocolate, and never could pronounce the word “album” correctly. She could dance the jitterbug like no other, was known far and wide for her fabulous cherry bread, took great pride in keeping a beautiful home, but her most endearing quality was as “best Grandma ever”!   Spending time with her grandchildren was always first on her list of favorite things to do.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Winifred Greene, two sisters Jilean Beckey and Carol Dunlap, and her beloved son, Rob Enga. Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Melvin D.; daughters, Cathy Dickey (Howard), Pam Ross (Greg), Holly Robinson (Jon) and daughter-in-law Karen Enga; grandchildren, Jordan Ross, Mason and Elliot Dickey, Danielle and Ashlyn Enga, and Lukas Robinson; and a great many nieces and nephews, bonus grandchildren, and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 22nd at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Visitation one hour prior. Private burial at church cemetery.
