MAGNAN (Rinker), Joy Eileen, age 75, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on May 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Elva Rinker; sisters, Faith Weber, Diane Nelson; 2nd husband, Perry Magnan. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Donald Rood, Daniel Rood, Dennis (Teresa) Magnan; 15 grandchildren, Autumn, Jennifer, Penny, Shyla, Jason, Angel, Harmony, Naomi, Willow, Alexander, Vestina, Tara, Nikola, Ian, Everett;6 great grandchildren, Jason, Kaitlin, Summer, Ashley, Mckenzie, Harley; 1st husband, Arnold Rood; many other relatives and good friends. Joy loved to dance. Enjoyed taking care of her family and toasting an occasion with her signature Sloe-Seven. She gladly took the time to listen to a good band playing. She had an appreciation for the Southpaws, as she was a lefty her whole life. Joy has a whole room with her unicorn collection and a nickname for each of her family members. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 18th 1-5pm in the Pavillion at Northwoods Park, 3815 Boone Avenue N., New Hope. In lieu of flowers, please remember Joy by making a donation to your local animal shelter in her name.
