Josiah David Ziegler, age 33, of Minneapolis. Josiah passed away on September 06, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mom, Mary Beth. Survived by his dad, Timothy; brother, Justin (Nikki); sister Alison (Nate); nieces and nephews, Owen, Will, Lucy, Molly, and Henry; Grandparents; numerous cousins, uncles, and aunts.
We especially remember Josiah’s talent, passion, and curiosity for music. His musical interests took many forms, including playing in bands, exploring new instruments, mixing, composing, tinkering, being a roadie, seeking new music to enjoy and celebrating the successes of friends. He could be found playing the bass at Northgate Church. We will miss watching him play and sharing those joys with him.
Josiah was quiet and shy, but loved spending time with his family, from his frequent visits to the farm to enjoy the peace of nature, to wrangling his nieces and nephews--gifting them with musical toys and showing off the latest video games. These moments were cherished.
Josiah left behind friends and family who miss him greatly. He was kind and thoughtful and had a way of looking at the world with hope and a simple wonder that many of us lack. We remember these qualities and many others while lamenting that his life was simply too short.
A Memorial Service will be held October 20, at 11:00, outdoors at the farm, 27901 Ziegler Road NW, Isanti.
