Dear friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jolene Taylor, who left this world on August 4, 2024, in Columbia Heights, MN. Jolene was born on February 7, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand.
Jolene had a remarkable career where she touched the lives of many with her fairness and respect for everyone she encountered. She made numerous friends throughout her journey and was known for valuing her co-workers' hard work and dedication. Her warm and caring personality endeared her to all those around her. Jolene had a knack for making people feel comfortable and welcomed with her friendly demeanor and snarky sense of humor that never failed to bring a smile to their faces.
One of Jolene's greatest joys in life was spending time with her husband and close friends working on antique cars or going for rides. She cherished these moments dearly. Jolene also had a deep love for her cats - Ruffles, Lacy, Muffin, Maxwell, Sundance, Darla, Merlin, Titan, Crash, Gabriel - who held a special place in her heart.
Jolene cherished her close friends as family.
In her free time, Jolene enjoyed reading and cooking elaborate meals for her family during the holidays. Her culinary skills were legendary as she could whip up a five-course meal from almost nothing. She also had an adventurous spirit and loved traveling with Warren. Riding in and watching Hot Air Balloons was one of her favorite pastimes.
Jolene's proudest accomplishment was raising beautiful, respectful, and responsible children who brought immense joy to her life. She was a dedicated mother to Mark (son) and Sharri (daughter) Daniel (Son), Paul (son), along with being a loving grandmother to Khristian, Marshall, Angel, Alyssa, Kristene; as well as great-grandmother to Rennie.
Jolene passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving husband Warren, while on their way to enjoy one of her favorite hobbies: shopping.
Jolene is preceded in death by Michelle Brust (sister) and Louise Ackerman (mother)., Kenny Williams (brother)
As we grieve the loss of Jolene Taylor, let us remember the light she brought into our lives and the love she shared with all those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace knowing that she will forever hold a cherished place in our hearts.
Warmly,
The Taylor Family
