John Gorman

Gorman, John A. Died April 3, 2014 at age 85. John grew up and attended school in the
Pequot Lakes, MN area, then joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended Dunwoody Vocational in Minneapolis. He then moved to Brainerd where he met and married Delores Ludwig. They moved to Fridley and John worked for Lowy Enterprises. He was a member of Teamsters Local 503. John was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Marie Gorman; sisters, Melda and Edith; wife, Delores and step-daughter, Linda Carrisch. He is survived by his brother, James Gorman of St. Croix Falls, WI; sisters, Ethel Nelson of Brainerd, Cleota Gorman of Minneapolis; step-children, Arthur Ludwig of Plymouth, Raymond (Jill) Ludwig of CA, Helen Isle of Brainerd, Ginny (Alvey) Alger of Federal Dam and Mary Decker of Int'l Falls. Funeral service Sunday, May 4th 2 PM with visitation one hour prior at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 NE Hwy 65, Fridley 763-571-1300.
