Joanne Mary Bendel 
Bendel, Joanne Mary age 83, passed away May 4th with her loving daughters and family by her side. Joanne will be remembered for her loving spirit, caring nature, creative mind, and unwavering dedication to her family. After a long career as an amazing nurse, she had the honor of retiring from Catholic Eldercare. Joanne enjoyed a retirement filled with sewing, crafting, baking, gardening, baby-sitting, volunteering, and spending time with friends. But above all else, she valued spending time with her family. Joanne was always at her happiest spending time at the cabin with her grandchildren. The cabin was a special place, where for many summers, she and her adoring husband, Larry, brought their cherished family and friends. We all know she has returned to that place of happiness and peace again. Special thanks to the loving caregivers of White Pine Assisted Living of Fridley and Olive Grove Hospice. Joanne is preceded in death by her parents Rose and Leonard and her husband Lawrence. She is survived by her three daughters Jenifer (Mark), Susan (Chris), and Elizabeth, along with their children Abby, Maddy, Savannah, Zach, Cole, Haley, Nathan, and Corey. Joanne is also survived by her sibling John (Judy). Joanne's love will live on with everyone who knew her. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11 AM, with a visitation 1 hour prior at the Church of St. William 6120 5th St NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
