Passed away May 1st, 2014 at home surrounded by family and friends. Jerry was many things; he was a farmer, a builder, a refinisher of old furniture, but most knew him as a tinkerer. Jerry had a green thumb, maintaining a lovely garden at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; children, Debbie (Craig) Kempkes, Richard , grandkids, Matthew and Nicholas Kempkes; brothers, Harvey, Gordon, and Raymond; sister, Helen Eutenewer.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; and his brother, Eugene.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Cancer Society of Minnesota.
