Jeffrey Allan Soulak

On Saturday, January 4th, 2025 Jeff (58) passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Jeff was well known throughout South Minneapolis, Fridley and Northern WI - he’s everyone’s favorite bartender, host with the most, and beloved friend with a heart of gold. We will all miss his quick wit, and his sneaky sense of humor that was always sure to catch you off guard. That laughter is now replaced with so many memories. Memories of motorcycle rides, bonfires out back, a trip to the bar, a dinner grilled up to perfection and the way he made you feel like you were the only one he wanted to see. Survived by his brothers James Soulak Jr. and Patrick Soulak; sister Megan Smith (Jeff); nieces Liisa Soulak and Amelia Smith; nephews Anthony Soulak, Donald Soulak Jr., Donovan Soulak, Reimond Soulak and Donnell Soulak; Father James Soulak Sr. (Linda). Preceded in death by his brother Donald Soulak Sr., and mother Carol Lynn (Ash) Soulak, and Mandy, his best girl. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at a later date. The support that has been shown by all of Jeff’s friends and those that are his chosen family has been overwhelming and we are all so thankful. The family also wants to thank the ICU staff at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for their kindness, patience and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family to assist with funeral and medical costs, or held until the celebration of life.
