Jeffrey Lee Delzer, known affectionately as Jeff, was born on November 1, 1952, and passed away on January 25, 2025. He had a fulfilling career as a territory manager for carpeting mills based out of Georgia, where he oversaw sales operations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Canada. In his later years, Jeff became increasingly involved with various charity organizations and took great pride in arranging numerous memorial programs for veterans.
A lover of the outdoors, Jeff cherished the solitude it offered and found peace at his favorite retreat on Woman Lake. His personality was characterized by his calm, yet assertive nature. An avid fisherman, he had a particular passion for sharing his knowledge of fishing with others, fostering a love for nature and the simple things in life. He was known for his great sense of humor, which was often highlighted by his distinctive laugh.
In his youth, Jeff gained a unique experience working with Warren Johnson on his drag racing team, and continued working with automobile sales in his free time.
Jeff is survived by his wife, DeLanna Delzer; stepson, Christopher Gordon; daughter, Lisa Delzer; grandson, Jakob Delzer-Waldron; grandson, Thomas Gordon; and brother, Philip Delzer. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Delzer, and mother, Lucille Delzer.
Visitation will take place on February 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432. The funeral service will follow on February 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM with visitation one hour prior, also at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, with a conclusion at 2:30 PM.
