Gilbertson, Jean A. age 83, of Spring Lake Park, passed peacefully on March 16, 2011, surrounded by her family who will miss her very much. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin and Hazel Holt; husband, Paul M.; brother, Douglas Holt; and grandson, Steven Gilbertson. Survived by sons, Paul L. (Betty), William (Elizabeth); daughters, Kathryn (Robert) Nye and Susan Gilbertson; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
After many years at Honeywell, Jean retired and devoted her time to family and friends. Jean enjoyed making afghans for family and friends and later enjoyed quilting with "the girls" of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Funeral service Tuesday, 11AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7700 Monroe St NE, Spring Lake Park. Visitation one hour prior to service at church and Monday, 5-8 PM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Memorials preferred to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
