Jim Redeske entered into Eternal Life on February 16, 2015 at age 75. He died from pancreatic cancer. He was a retired officer of Northwest Airlines and an active member of the #261 Steam Train family. He was a man of strong faith, a spreader of joy, a giver of love, and a warm presence to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by parents Ruby and Floyd Redeske, sister Joan Fretheim, parents in law Bud and Bea Holm, and sister in law Merry Boesen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Bettyann, son Steve (Nicole) Redeske, daughter Marcia (Chris) Jensen, daughter Sara (Mark) Migliori, grandchildren Rachel, Andrew, Lauren Jensen, and Anna Migliori, brother Gary (Lesia) Redeske, sister in law Ginny Holm, brother in law and sister in law Tom and Karen Holm, brother in law and sister in law John and Lynn Boesen. Memorial service Monday, February 23rd at 11:00 am at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St NW, New Brighton, with visitation 1 ½ hours prior to the service. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
