James Duane Plumedahl, age 82, of New Brighton, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty.
James is survived by his children, Michael, Gregory (Sharon), Carlee (Geoff) McKusick and Sara (Jason) Gascho; sibling, Betty Christensen; grandchildren, Whitney, Matthew, Ryan, Kelsey, Jaimie, Nylah, Brinn, Jaylee, Levi, Phoenyx and great-grandson, James.
James taught and coached within the Columbia Heights School District for over 30 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, on Friday, September 15, 2017, at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church, 6180 MN-65, Fridley, MN 55432, with a visitation 1 hour prior.
Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will take place at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
