James "Flip" A. Glidden, age 75 of Fridley, passed away on February 25, 2011. Jim was born August 16, 1935 the son of Douglas and Lorraine (Fischer) Glidden in Winona, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife Carole; daughters Stephanie (Mike) Chorzempa, Tara (Steve) Cohn, Stacy and Cheryl (Scott) Yokobosky; his grandchildren Lauren, John, Sam, Hallie and Lorelei. Also by his sisters Margaret Glidden and Mary Hengel.
Mass scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2011, at St. William Catholic Church at 11:00am, visitation one hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.Memorials preferred to Church of St. William Prayer Garden.
