Iris Rene Jackson was born June 10, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Huey and Joyce Bolden. She was the oldest of three children. Iris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all she knew.

Iris graduated from Paul Revere Elementary School and Jones Commercial High School in Chicago, Illinois. While working in the medical profession, Iris always increased her knowledge in her career field by pursuing advanced academic training throughout her career. Iris had a lifelong career in the medical profession until her time of death. Iris was very intelligent, dedicated, hardworking, nurturing and outgoing woman.

Iris found Christ at an early age. She was baptized under the Lutheran Faith. She was a member of the Methodist faith and an Eastern Star. Iris also found way to actively serve in the community when there was a need.

Iris met Lawrence Jackson and they were joined in Holy Matrimony on April 11, 1981. To this union one daughter was born, Jaime Michelle Walton.

Iris was called home to be with the Lord on, Friday, May 29, 2020. Iris leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Lawrence Jackson; her daughter Jaime Walton (Lamar); Grandchildren, Jada, Joi, Jocelyn; Justin; and Jakob; Stepson; Lawrence Jackson Jr.(Kijuana); Stepdaughter Tunnura Jackson; Parents, Huey and Joyce Bolden; Father-Law Henry Jackson; Sister Tiffany Rodgers (James); Sisters in law, Michelle Jackson; Karla Jackson; and Karen Jackson; Brothers in law, Henry Jackson Jr. and Micheal Jackson; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends
