Irene Gabrielson

94, of Fridley passed away peacefully at her son, Ron's home in Coon Rapids on August 1, 2015 surrounded by her family.

Irene Ann Gabrielson was born on May 11, 1921 to William and Melissa (Brooks) Baker in Minneapolis. In 1946, she was united in marriage to Roger Gabrielson in Minneapolis. She was a long time employee, and later retired from Univac. She was an excellent cook who also enjoyed gardening and canning. Irene loved to fish and crochet.

Irene is survived by her children, Roger (Pat) Gabrielson, Ronald (Carole) Gabrielson, Diana (Michael Morrison) Gabrielson; grandchildren, Scott Gabrielson, Michelle Gabrielson, Irene Ann Gabrielson, Ronald (Soniel) Gabrielson, Jr., Roger Gabrielson 3rd, Jamie Gabrielson, Debra Gabrielson, Shawn Gabrielson, Chad Gabrielson; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger in 1969; daughter, Irene Ann; son, Sonny; and 11 siblings.
