Howard Kulla

September 18, 1940 — April 12, 2016

Kulla, Howard J. "Poochie" age 75 of Fridley. Born and raised in Elmdale, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on April 12, 2016. Howie was an Army Veteran who later retired from MNDot after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and spending time with friends who include his large family. We will forever remember his smile, his sense of humor and his love of making us laugh. Preceded in death by parents, John and Helen Kulla; 4 brothers, Richard, Virgil, Alfred and Floyd Kulla; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hanfler and Bernadine Rude. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sandy "Peach"; daughters, Debbi and Patty (Dan); 3 grandchildren, Jonathan (Melissa) Larson, Ashley (Jeff) Randall and Shane Randall; 5 great-grandchildren, Grace, Parker, Linkoln, Ahnalisa; 3 brothers, LeRoy (Leona) Kulla, Ronald (Barb) Kulla and William Kulla; sister, Genevieve Grachek); many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM with visitation one hour prior at the Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Ave. NE, Blaine. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
