Heiderose Haneca

December 18, 1942 — October 22, 2014

Heiderosa "Heidi" Johanna Haneca of Shoreview, MN passed away on October 22, 2014.

Heidi was born December 18, 1942 in Crellenhaih, Germany. She arrived in the United States in May of 1957, where she lived in Albert Lea before residing in Robbinsdale, MN. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School. She married David Hughes and had three wonderful children, Kevin, Karene and Troy. She worked at Honeywell/Alliant Tech for about 18years.
She was one of two children (Ilona), her one and only sister who she adored. In 1984, she married the love of her life, Larry "Ace" Haneca who she planned on spending the rest of her life with. Together they enjoyed fishing, vacations, friends and spending time with family. There were countless friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Her family was very important to her.
Heidi (Mom), will always be remembered by her loving daughter, Karene who she always referred to as her "little girl". They were the best of friends and the love between them did not go unnoticed. Heidi also had a step son Nick who she loved as one of her own.
Heidi (Oma), had six beautiful grandchildren that she treasured with her heart, Brandon (Karene's son), Nicole and Justin (Troy's children), Eli, Lillian and Jett (Nick's children). She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Lily and Owen (children of Nicole's).
Heidi was preceded in death by her parents and grandma (Oma) and her truly blessed and beloved sons who meant the world to her Kevin Allen and Troy Justin. She was survived by her loving husband Ace; children, Karene (Jeff) Anderson, Nick Haneca; grandchildren, Brandon, Nicole, Justin, Eli, Lilia, Jett; great grandchildren, Lily and Owen; sister, Ilona (Lyle) Cashin; nieces and nephews, Kristine, Kim and Erik.
Heidi loved to fish, garage sale/shop, grow flowers, garden, canning, crocheting and cooking. She was always the life of the party and would do anything for anybody, in fact did everything for everyone.
Heidi touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way until the end. Let's celebrate her life together on November 2nd, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE at 12:30pm with a visitation at 11am.
