Harlin Grover

February 24, 1925 — July 14, 2015

Harlin Grover, 90, of Spring Lake Park passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23 with visitation one hour prior at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 N.E. , Fridley.

Survived by his wife, Patricia of 65 years; daughter, Sue Ristine; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Della Cluff, and Bonnie (Dennis) Stebe. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ginger Crego; siblings, Chuck (Trudy) Grover, Florence (Larry) Van Sant, and Wally Cluff.

Harlin William Grover was born on February 24, 1925 to William and Gladys (Davis) Grover. After graduating with the Bemidji High School class of 1943, Harlin served during WWII spending time in Japan and Hawaii. On November 5, 1950, Harlin was united in marriage to Patricia Thoreson in Bemidji.

Harlin was a life-time member of the V.F.W. and the 25th President of the Spring Lake Park Lions Club. In his spare time, Harlin enjoyed baseball and playing cards, especially Bridge.
