Gracelyn VanGorden

April 17, 2003-December 13, 2015
Gracelyn gently left us to be at peace on December 13th, 2015 after her fight with Cystic Fibrosis for twelve years. The gift of a double lung transplant in 2013, her fierce will to live, and the grace of God carried her through two extra special years of life, love and happiness that we will always be thankful for. We'll never forget her contagious smile and silly laugh, her love of books, baking, dancing, and her expert hunting and fishing skills.
Left to honor her memory are her parents Sonny & Linzi VanGorden, brother Vince and sister Isabelle, Grandparents Deb VanGorden, Bev & Dev Weeks, Randy & Debbie Swanson and Great Grandparents Dick & Marlene Swanson and June Kulkay, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and teachers that loved Gracelyn dearly.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers from many family, friends, and supporters, including: Children's Hospitals in Minneapolis and Houston, Bel Air and Highview Schools, Salem Covenant Church, USSA, Make-a-Wish Foundation and Miracle Lodge.
