Gloria Wellan

Gloria Jane Wellan passed away peacefully 1/5/2020 age 82.  She was a warm and loving wife, mother and grandmother who led a full life and loved her family and them in return. Gloria liked to travel the world with her husband Wayne, play tennis, spend time with family and sing in the church choir.  She cherished time at the cabin in Northern WI that she also helped build. Gloria was also involved in numerous community activities in Fridley, MN.  She is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Eugene and brothers Austin and Richard.  Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Wayne; daughter, Julie (Tom); sons, Scott (LuAnn), Jeff (Nancy), Jay (Cathy); grandchildren, Christina (Chris), Nick (Jill), Jennifer (Tom), Adam (Abby), Gina (Will), Andrew, Amanda, Rebecca, Emily, Sarah; great grandchildren, Graham, Finn, Ayda, Wesley, Cora, and Isla.  Funeral service on Tuesday, Jan 14, 2020. Visitation is at 10 a.m., with the funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Philips Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN.
