Glenn Eugene Thorpe was called home to the Lord on November 29, 2020 at the spry age of 88. He was born September 22, 1932 in Vero Beach FL. He was a resident of Blaine MN, a snowbird of Salton Sea CA, and a lover of fishing upon his pontoon on beautiful Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood MN.
He has been reunited in heaven with his parents H.V. Thorpe & Lozia Grantham; wife Marianna Pulfrey; sisters Omigene Bailey & Maxine Davis; his beloved children Judy Williams and Glenn E. Thorpe Jr. (Buddy); his fur baby Betsy Sue.
He is survived by his loving, adoring wife Jenenne E. Thorpe. His stepdaughters Julie Lundberg & Belinda Larson. 11 grandchildren: Deann Kelsey, Tina Lott, Janel Norton, Lisa Chamberlain, Dustin Kelsey, Glenn E. Thorpe III, Anneliese & Nicholas Larson, Callie & Lindsey Lundberg. 9 Great Grandchildren: Amber Wilfork, Brittney Goff, Christopher Floyd, Krystal & Brenden Kelsey, Taylor & Lincoln Chamberlain, June & Ruby Norton. 7 Great-great grandchildren: Moses & Jeremiah Wilfork, Joshua, Jerico, Mackenzie, Tyler and Analisa Floyd.
Family and friends, near and far, past and present always meant the world to him. Regardless of how you knew him, we were blessed to be loved by this incredible man. We will forever miss and cherish the love, values and memories he shared with us. Master Mason Glenn can now rest in peace after over 50 years of service.
Service will be held January 12, 2021 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fridley, MN Visitation at 10am, Service at 11am. Internment will be at 12:30pm at Morningside Memorial Garden, Coon Rapids, MN
