Glenmore Bloom

The Lord took Glenmore, aged 94, home as he was peacefully sleeping on November 9, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1919. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Roxie (Voekel) Bloom and his wife, Gladys Irene(Tjosaas) Bloom; also preceded in death by son, Keith; daughter, Eileen Osmonson; brother, Herbert (Audrey) Bloom; sisters, Florence Everson, Maryann "Dolly" (Mel) Reiman; and brother-in-law, Jack Hennessey. Glenmore is survived by sister, Mildred Hennessey; sons, Milton (Jeanne) Bloom, Wesley (Melissa) Bloom; daughter, Colleen (Greg) Pettersen; daughter-in-law, Karen Biller; son-in-law, Terry Osmonson; sister-in-law, Audrey Bloom. He will also be missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Glenmore worked at the Star Tribune for nearly 30 years. His son, Wesley and grandson, Michael currently work for them.
Memorial Service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
