Gene F. Engelbrecht, age 87 of Andover, formerly of Fridley, went home to be with Jesus.
Retired from Control Data. A loving and devoted husband of 60 ½ years to Florence. Devoted father to Karen (Brad) Flolid, Gary (Jena) Engelbrecht and grandchildren, Michael (Whitney), Derek (Lindsay), Curtis Flolid and Cory, Brian Engelbrecht. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Freda Engelbrecht and sister, Cheryl Chicchese.
Funeral Service 11 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7700 Monroe St., Spring Lake Park, MN, with visitation starting at 10 AM.
Interment will be at Morningside Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
