Gary Wayne McClimek, 76, passed away on January 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of humor, generosity, and kindness. Born on June 12, 1948, Gary was known for his quick wit and his willingness to help anyone in need—whether it was giving his last penny or the shirt off his back.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorthy McClimek; his siblings, Dale, Scott, Randall, and Roxie; his beloved wife, Janet (Barnes) McClimek; and his grandson, David Wayne McClimek.

Gary is survived by his four daughters, Ann, April, Teri, and Angel, along with his 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his memory. Though his brother Roger lives out of state, their frequent phone calls kept their bond strong.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory in Fridley, MN. His ashes will be laid to rest later this spring in the cemetery located in Bena, MN.

Gary’s kindness, humor, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
