age 65, of Mounds View, Minnesota, passed away November 25th, 2010. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Bertha Schumacher, Benton and Thelma Reddish; and granddaughter, Annah Maree Kennedy. Garry enjoyed a 42-year career as a Computer Programmer/Analyst and Manager, principally at Control Data/BT Americas. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Survived by his wife, Pam; son, Dale (Beth Carls) Schumacher; daughter, Kristine (Randy) Kennedy; grandchildren, Stephanie Kennedy, Laura (Tim) Blair, Ashley Schumacher, Valerie Kennedy; great-grandson, Tristan Blair; also parents, Elroy and Nadine Schumacher; brothers,Gaylain (Sharon) Schumacher, Gordon (Brenda) Schumacher, Wayne (Judy)Schumacher; many other relatives and friends. Memorial service Thursday, Dec. 2, 6PM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View, Minnesota. Visitation from 2PM- 6PM at the church. A dinner will be served at 7PM. Interment to be held at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois, July 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Messiah Lutheran Church Fund- perennial flowers for the memory garden.
