Elizabeth Sery

Elizabeth Mary (Noll) Walstrom Sery was born on January 7th, 1948 in Ida Grove, IA. Durning her school years, Liz was very active in 4-H, church, and school activities. After graduating from Odebolt-Arthur High School(IA) in 1966, she attended the Minnesota School of Business and worked as a Legal Secretary for 40 years. Liz was very devoted to the Al-Anon Family Groups. During her 41 years in Al-Anon, served as a District Representive and a Delegate to the Al-Anon World Service Board of Trustees and served 3 years as a member of the Executive Committe. Liz Passed away on March 8th, 2013 in Columbia Heights, Mn. at the age of 65 years. She is Survived by her loving husband, Greg, and son Jeff and sisters Catherine (William) Litwinow of Bettendorf, IA, Barbara (Alan) Piper of Greenfield, IA and Margaret(Robert) Adams of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. There will be a private interment at a later date.
