Cooper, Elizabeth “Buffy” Ann (Reitter)
Age 51 of Blaine, MN passed away peacefully at home in the evening hours of May 6th.
Born January 1st, 1970 Buffy blessed this world with her vibrant beautiful spirit for over a half century and her righteous light will only burn brighter in eternity. Buffy’s battle with cancer could not dim her love of life or her caring and compassion for others. Those that knew Buffy in great depth, as well as those who knew her less intimately know that her presence touched all she met in a most positive way. Buffy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and step mother.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elaine Reitter, who I’m sure has met her with open arms in God’s Kingdom.
Buffy is survived by her husband Eric Cooper and her step children Madison Cooper and Andy Ashley; father, Jerry Reitter; siblings Mark Reitter and David Reitter; aunt Sister Ritamary Pyzick; nieces and nephews; cousins; and numerous friends.
Visitation at 9:30 AM and Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 on Friday, May 14th at The Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Sunset Grill in Spring Lake Park, to occur following the service. Buffy will be laid to rest in St. George, MN on Saturday May 15th in a private service.
We ask that those who wish to make a donation do so in Buffy’s name to The Skin Cancer Foundation, at “give.skincancer.org”
