Edwin Melin

Melin, Edwin August, age 95 of Coon Rapids, passed away on Nov 7, 2019. Edwin was born in Parshall, ND to Carl and Agnes Melin. He grew up in the Detroit Lakes area and proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. Preceded in death by wife, Marvel; parents; and 5 siblings. Survived by children, Jeff (Peggi), Debbie Jaakola, Ron (Shari) and Don (Leah); 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Service 11AM with visitation beginning at 10AM on Fri, Nov 15 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
