Redden, Donna A.
Age 76 of Fridley, passed away November 16, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, husband Edward; son Keith; 2 brothers Rochie and Arnold, 1 sister DelRose and life partner Edwin Meaney. Donna worked most of her adult life, some of her jobs were; a waitress in a little cafAC. on Central Ave in Columbia Heights, she worked at a bakery for awhile, then LaMaur while it was still downtown, then the Arsenal and last but not least she retired from Medtronica�(TM)s after 20 years of service. In the mist of working she also found time to raised 6 children and took care of her mother-in-law, also took care of truckera�(TM)s and some of their families. Dad would give mom a sob story and she would take them in until they could either find a place or would give them a place to stay instead of having to pay for a motel until they could unload their truck and head back home. Once she retired from Medtronica�(TM)s her and Edwin would go south for the winters. They traveled in their different types of motor homes for 10 years or so. She was a loving wife, companion, mom, grandma and friend. Her hobbies included; going to garage sales, planting roses and other flowers and baking. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Survived by children Sherry, Edward, Rick, Dan, Becky (Deno); 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother Richard and many other relatives as well as friends. Visitation 3-6 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley. Funeral service Monday 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at The Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi Way NE, Fridley. Interment St. Jeanne de Chantel Cemetery, Corcoran. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
