Donald Wolf

Donald Michael Wolf, 73, passed away after a 7 month battle with lung cancer on July 19, 2017. The fifth of ten children, Don was born to Joe and Helen Wolf on June 16, 1944 in Linton, North Dakota. Don grew up on the family farm in Linton. Don married Elaine Simon on November 22, 1969 in Buckman, MN. The couple made their home in NE Minneapolis. In 1992 the family moved to Spring Lake Park, MN where they currently reside. Don worked at Mead Metals for 37 years retiring in 2007. Don enjoyed being with his family, painting, wood projects, and lawn care (picking up every single leaf that fell). Don loved horses, 7 and 7’s, traveling with family together in a van, casino, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, movies and popcorn. He finally wasn’t outnumbered by girls with his son-in laws and 4 grandsons. The thing he was most sad about was not going to able to see those boys grow
up. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elaine; Daughters, Jill (Brent) Megahan, Robin (Jeff) Lapcinski; Grandsons, Ben, Luke, Reed and Joey; Sisters, DelRita (Don) Schouten, Darlene (Tom) Sundahl, Bernie Wolf, Helen Mueller, Pat (Ron) Moss; Brothers, Joe (Jane), Herman (Joan), Frank (Debbie), Andy (Sue) Wolf; and many other relatives and friends.
