Donald Blashill

Blashill, Donald Fred was born on 4/17/63 in Minneapolis and died on 10/17/14 in Blaine at the age of 51 years. Don served in the US Air Force from 1981-1985. He married Sue Nimis on June 4, 2003. Don was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Lucille Blashill; wife, Susan (Nimis) Blashill. Survived by brothers, Thomas (Alyce) Blashill and Steven (Barbara Chenery) Blashill; sisters, Mary Kay Blashill (Delora Fiers), Karen Blashill, Paula (Mark) Allen; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Memorial service Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2:30 PM with visitation 1/2 hour prior with a luncheon and time for fellowship following the service at Hope Christian Church, 4911 Hodgson Road, Shoreview. Interment Monday 11/3/2014 at 10 AM at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.

The Blashill family is grieving again. We lost our brother Donald on Friday 10/17/2014. After Don lost his wife Sue, in February this year, he went into a deep depression and after months of trying to get him help, he decided to take his own life. Please pray for his soul. We are all processing this tragedy in different ways but could also use some prayers to make sense of it all and to find some peace.
