Dolores Mary Butterfield, of Fridley, passed away on Saturday, May 22nd at White Pines Senior Living. She was 85 years old.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brothers, Wilferd and Roger Hockert.
She is survived by children: Ann (Peter) Hoffman, Paul Butterfield, Mary Kay (Larry) Lund, and Richard (Therese) Butterfield; 10 grandchildren: Matthew Hoffman, Breanna Hoffman, Jenna Butterfield, Maria (Darrin) Braaten, William (Haley) Lund, Michael Lund, Nathan Lund, Michelle (Mason) Lund, Nicole Butterfield, and Joseph Butterfield; 6 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Katie, Lauren, Briella, Emma, and Bennett; sisters: Laverne (Roger) Wagner, Phyllis (Mark) Bramwell, Ardyce (Darrel) LeBlanc, and Ginny Goble; sister-in-law, Marjorie Hockert; nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.
Dolores had a strong Catholic faith, attending Mass and praying the rosary daily. She enjoyed flower gardening and traveling. She was a great cook who made the best Thanksgiving Day dinner ever. Dolores had a big heart and was always asking how everyone was doing.
A loving mom and grandma, Dolores will be dearly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton with Visitation one hour prior.
Inurnment at Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.
