Dennis Joseph Wadnizak

Dennis Joseph Wadnizak, 72, of Spring Lake Park, died July 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ione (Pederson) Wadnizak and Joseph B. Wadnizak, and his brother Kenneth Wadnizak. He was survived by siblings: Bruce, Gayla Ellis (Chris), and Julie; his niece, Joy Gonzalez (Larry); and his grandnephew, James Gonzalez. Close to his heart were many younger relatives, especially his beloved cousin and goddaughter, Channa Pederson. Dennis ("Fritz”) was deeply loved by family and friends who will truly miss him.

He graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1968. In 1971, he enlisted in the Navy. In 1977, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State. He spent most of his working life as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He retired in 2010 at age 60.

He loved to golf. He and his friends would plan trips to play at various golf courses around the country, as well as local ones. He loved to hang out with family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 31, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 and a service from 3:00 to 4:00 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN.
