Dennis Nolan

Dennis James Nolan, age 69 of Friendly Fridley, passed away Dec. 29, 2017 into eternal peace after many years of illness. Preceded in death by his parents Ann and James Nolan and brother James. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Survived by loving wife Carolyn of 39 years, daughter Angela and grandsons Adam, Aaron and Alex, son Michael (Elizabeth) and brother Joe (Pam). Graduate of St. John’s Preparatory, The University of St. Thomas, and the University of Minnesota. Retired computer systems analyst from the State of Minnesota. Dennis was a patient and kind man with a keen sense of humor who delighted in being Irish and Italian, listening to the Beach Boys, playing checkers and indulging in ice cream. But the greatest joy of his life was his family. Celebration of Dennis’ life and all that he loved on Sat. Jan. 6, 2018 at St. William’s Catholic Church 6120 5th St. NE in Fridley. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. followed by an Italian feast. Visitation one hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dennis’ honor are preferred to: St. William’s Catholic Church, Fridley Schools Band Programs and Twin Cities Public Television.
