Dean Ellwood Erickson, born April 20, 1935 in Glenwood, MN joined his Heavenly Family on July 1, 2016. Waiting for Dean is his son, Michael Dean, his parents, Clarence and Agnes Erickson, his sisters, Delores Anderson and Geraldine Nelson, son-in-law Steven Sater, his niece, Jill, and his nephew, Shane.
Dean is survived by son, Craig Erickson, granddaughters, Lindsay and Codie, great grandchildren, Brody and Isabella, Dean's daughter Suzanne Sater, and grandson, Jesse (Kelly) Sater, and granddaughter, Micha Sater, Myrna Erickson, friend and mother of Dean's children. Also survived by Mary Erickson and her daughters, Leslie and Maggie, and two grandsons.
Dean was a high school teacher for 35 years. He taught at Columbia Heights Senior High School for 28 years before his retirement. Dean served two years in the United States Army. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Memorials may be given to J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice, 9350 Noble Parkway N., Brooklyn Park, MN 55443.
A private family memorial service will be held.
