September 22, 1946 - January 8th, 2022

David Lee Nielsen, 75, of Columbia Heights, MN passed away on Saturday January 8th, 2022. Dave was survived by his sister Betty Hults, brother Tom Nielsen, his sweetheart Judy Perez and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Ralph and Mavis Nielsen and his brother Donald Nielsen. Dave enjoyed fishing (both summer and winter), hunting for antiques (Dave had many collections but his fishing lures were among his favorites!), watching football, spending time at the VFW with family and friends. Dave also took many trips when he was younger on his motorcycle. There are so many fond memories to be shared and we hope that you will join us in celebrating Dave's life on Friday February 11th at Redeemer Lutheran Church (61 Mississippi St. NE, Fridley) visitation 10am-11am, service 11am followed by a luncheon at the VFW Post 6316 (1374 109th Ave. NE, Blaine) at 12:30pm.
