David Bona

David Leo Bona, 74, passed away December 31, 2015. He beat the odds 28 years ago when he received a heart transplant and a second chance at life. This allowed him to see his grandchildren grow into young adults and also spend many unforgettable summers at the lake, where the door was always open to family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, old time country music and "one more" pontoon ride around the lake. His wit and sense of humor will be fondly remembered. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Charlotte; his children, Brian (Cindy), Cathy (Jim) Durkot; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Alaina and Sydney; his faithful companion "Chiever;" and numerous friends and family.
