Daryl Sandberg

Age 90 of Fridley, went to be with the Lord on March 3rd surrounded by his family.  Daryl changed many lives by spreading the word of God through prison Ministries and through spreading the Gospel around the world.  He loved fishing, golfing, and doing a lot of charitable work such as working with Meals on Wheels. He was also a long-time member at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley and taught Sunday school there for many years. Daryl is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce; parents, Adolph and Geneva; sisters, Dorothy (Allen) and Velma (Kelly); infant son, Jeffery; and sister-in-law, Pat Isaacson.  He is survived by his children, Greg, Cindy (Steve) Timo, and Brad (Michelle); grandchildren, Stefanie (Anthony Merwin) Timo, Christopher, Justen (Leezza); great-grandchildren, Amelia, Tyler, Abby, Nolan, and Olivia; adoptive son, Alex Valsquez; and many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14 from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 highway 65 NE, Fridley MN 55432. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 12:00 PM with an hour visitation prior at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi St NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Burial to follow services at Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham, MN.
