Daniel Matter

Daniel J. Matter, of Coon Rapids, passed away on November 6, 2022. He was 63 years old.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Nancy.

He is survived by his siblings: Randa (Tom) Applegate, Tom, Mike (Barb), Chuck (Julie), and Steve (Barb); nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.

Dan worked for Medtronic for 44 years, beginning his career there in 1978 and working up until his retirement. Dan loved sports and supported the Minnesota teams: Twins, Wild, and Vikings. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia. Dan also enjoyed playing card and table games.

Every Christmas season, Dan acted as "Danta" for his nieces and nephews. He was always generous with his gifts for them.

Gathering at 1:00 p.m. and Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20th at Miller Funeral Home.

Burial at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.
