Cynthia Hardy

Cynthia Hardy passed away unexpectedly at her home in Richfield on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was 51 years old.

Cynthia was born in Newark, California on September 29, 1962, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Peterman) Hardy. The family moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota in 1970 where she and her three siblings were raised. She attended Moorhead State University and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree. She moved to the Twin Cities metro area shortly after, where she ultimately pursued a career in Human Resource Management.

Cynthia had a deep love for dogs, in particular her two pugs Maxwell and Sophie. She enjoyed Indy Car racing, theater, gemology, and family. Cynthia was an intensely caring person, and incredibly generous. She will be deeply missed.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dorothy; and many aunts and uncles.

Cynthia is survived by her siblings, Randy (Linda) Hardy of Eden Prairie, Beth (CR) Hamilton of Richfield, and Tim (Erin) Hardy of New Brighton, as well as nephew Matthew Hardy of Eden Prairie.
Memorial services for Cynthia Kay Hardy will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service.
