Clyde Hurt
March 31, 1934 — May 11, 2014
Clyde E Hurt, age 80 of Fridley, MN, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2014. Memorial Service 11 AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE in Fridley, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Thursday, 10:30AM, Lane 5.
Proceeded in death by parents; wife, Susan; son, Darren; and two brothers, Irvin and John, both of Texas. He will be so dearly loved and missed by sons, Tom (Sally), Dan, and Mitch (Roxanne); grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, Jaymes, Jordan, Megan, Trevor and Logan; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
After retiring from the Star Tribune, he enjoyed grilling, hunting and fishing with his boys and brother. His biggest joy was watching his grandchildren's sports. He would drive hours to go watch.
Special thanks to Roxanne for all the love and special care she gave him.
