Chris Donley

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the age of 57 after a brief battle with cancer and renal failure. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Ostrem Donley and father, Raymond Donley. He is survived by his wife, Pam Donley children, Ryan (Amber) of Victoria and Cory of Fridley; grandson, Will, brother, Kerry (Christine) Donley of Alexandria; sister, Dana (Greg) Rygg of Ramsey; and his nieces and nephews. Chris was born and raised in Mpls, MN, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School. Chris married his high school sweetheart, Pam Modig on November 6, 1976. Chris and Pam moved to Fridley in 1977, where they raised their 2 boys. He attended Normandale College of 1 year followed by working for various trucking lines ending his career at Old Dominium Freight. Chris is known for his infectious passion of fishing, spending time at the cabin, going to the racetrack, watching the Vikings and spending time with his family and friends.
