Charlotte Thill

Charlotte was born March 13, 1932 on the farm in Red Top, Minnesota to Rockwell and Clara Rasmussen. She attended school in McGrath, Minnesota and graduated valedictorian of her class in 1949. The class consisted of 13 students. After graduating, she worked for General Mills, Cargill, and Central Data. For 20+ years she was the bookkeeper for Kraus Hartig VFW. Charlotte belonged to the VFW Auxillary of 6587 where she served as treasurer for 30 years. Charlotte was also a member of MOCA pup tent 71, where she served as grand president from 1987-1988.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond; infant son, Ryan; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Linda, Gail, Bob, Deanne (Al), Larry, Karen (Mike); grandchildren, Rob (Andi), Stephanie, Kelly, Jamie, April, Eric (Jess), Cory, Bryan, Ryan, Rachel, Rozy & Sheila; great-grandchildren, Corrina, Alek, Bonito, Reed, Devon, Hope, Caleb, Zoe, Ava, Treyson, Avery, Elizabeth, Addison, Presley; great-great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Brantley; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlotte was loved by many people and her smile touched everyone she met. The gates in heaven have welcomed her home and now she is a bright star in the sky.
