Charlotte Barksley

Charlotte Jewel Barksley was born on April 10, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Charlie and Annie Jewel Barksley who preceded her in death. Charlotte attended Chicago Public Schools and Visitation Catholic High School where she received her diploma. Charlotte met the Love of Her Life, David Williams, at the age of 11. They later united in matrimony. Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Spirit and truth Worship Center in Minneapolis, MN. Charlotte worked at the Harriet Tubman Women's Shelter. She loved to help and serve others and always had a warm smile on her face. Her kind and compassionate heart always drew people to her. Charlotte gained her wings on January 29, 2017. She will forever be missed. Charlotte is survived by her husband, David Williams, Sr.; her children, Charise (Angelo), Phoniquica (Jamar, Sr.), David Jr. (Brianna), Charley, CeeCee, Charstine, and Charles Jr. (Stepson); and her grandchildren, Jamar Jr., Davieon, Jamell, Yumeka, Dominic, Amiya, Daylen, Trey, and Pharrah. She also leaves behind cousins & family friends, including Kimberly Williams, Denise Robins, and Lora Winters. Funeral service Monday, February 13th, 2017, 1 PM with visitation one hour prior at the Spirit & Truth Worship Center 3254 Penn Ave. N, Mpls. Private interment.
