Charles Wilken

Charlie Alfred Wilken, age 87 of Mounds View, passed away January 9, 2011. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, LaVerle; children, Ken, Craig, Bill (Holly), Julie (Paul) Simonett, Dave (Lori); grandchildren, Mike and Lauren, Kyle and Karli, Melanie and Brad, Katie and Joe, Drew, Spencer and Cole; many nieces, nephews and friends. Charlie adored woodworking and his gardens. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 10AM at The Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Avenue Northeast, Blaine. Visitation Wednesday, 5-7PM at Miller Funeral Home 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley, and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at a later date.
